![]() So, ignoring this warning and only using opt-in ASLR (not mandatory) is probably the best option for most people. This breaks old apps without providing much more protection if the app is 32 bits anyway, since the address space is not large enough to ensure adequate entropy. That would be bad, because I would not advise users to enable mandatory ASLR anyway. I am not sure if this “fix” doesn’t enable mandatory ASLR even if you don’t set it in the GUI of 1709. ![]() To save your time, you can download the following Registry tweak:
